How to Sign Up for Futsal:

Teams

Your team manager will need to complete the team nomination form below.

The team manager’s primary responsibility will be to act as our point of contact for your team.

Players in a team

You will need to register on Squadi before your first game.

Players not in a team

  1. Fill out the individual player nomination form below.
  2. We will notify you once we have found you a team. Please note this is dependent on whether spots are available, so this may take a long time, or may not be possible in the current season.
  3. After we have found you a team, you will need to register on Squadi before your first game.

Academy (Representative) Futsal

  1. Fill out the intent to trial form once it becomes available (usually in June).
  2. Attend trials (usually in July).
  3. Successful trialists will be sent further information & instructions regarding registration & payment of fees.

Registration Fees & Information

Why do I need to register on Squadi?

We are a Football Queensland (FQ) affiliated futsal provider. Under FQ regulations, all players participating in a competition must register for that competition on Squadi before stepping foot onto the court. That is, all players must register on Squadi for every competition (e.g. Social Winter Season, State Titles) they play in.

This is a requirement to ensure that all participants are covered under the Football Queensland Insurance Program in case of injury or accident.

Fees – Social Competitions

All fees are paid on a per player basis as follows:

  • Match Fee: $12 per game, paid on match days at the canteen
  • Junior Registration Fees (DOB 2006 or younger):
    • FQ Futsal Rego Fee: $37.50 per registration period*
    • Ipswich Futsal Rego Fee (summer season only): $52.50
  • Senior Registration Fees (DOB 2005 or older):
    • FQ Futsal Rego Fee: $42.50 per registration period*
    • Ipswich Futsal Rego Fee (summer season only): $47.50

All registration fees are to be paid on Squadi

For eligible players aged 5-17 years old, we accept Queensland Fair Play vouchers to help cover the cost of registration fees & match fees.

In cases of financial hardship, please contact us via info@ipswichfutsal.com.au or speak to us on match day at the canteen. We may be able to make alternative arrangements for payment of fees.

Registration Periods

The Football Queensland (FQ) registration periods for futsal are now April 1st to March 31st the following year (or Easter Day, whichever comes later).

A registration period will include winter season (starts in April) and the following summer season (starts in September/October).

For insurance reasons, you will need to register on Squadi for every season, however you will only be charged FQ registration once in each registration period.

Under Football Queensland rules and regulations, all players who take the court must be registered on Squadi.

Fill out the individual player nomination form below. If we find a spot for you, we will be in touch. After we have placed you into a team, register on Squadi before your first game.

All registrations must be paid online through Squadi. If needed, you can contact us to arrange a payment plan.

Yes we accept Queensland Fair Play vouchers!

You can select government voucher as a payment method when registering on Squadi.

Additionally, you can pay match fees using what remains of your Fair Play voucher. Just have a chat to staff at the front counter.

Team Nomination

This is the team nomination form for teams wanting to play in our social competitions.

Team managers:

  • After double checking your team nomination for mistakes, click “Submit” at the end of the form. If submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your team nomination included.
  • If you are having technical difficulties submitting the nomination form, please email your team nomination to info@ipswichfutsal.com.au.
  • If you need to update your team nomination after submitting, send an email to info@ipswichfutsal.com.au.
  • If a player without a team is allocated to your team, we will add the player to your team nomination for you.

    Individual Player Nomination Form – Players Without A Team

    The nomination form for individual players currently without a team. We will contact you once we have placed you into a team. Please note this may take a while if there’s still a long time before season start, or if there are no spots left that we know of. Once we have placed you into a team, make sure to register on Squadi before your first game.
